The Events Planning Committee of DMSMCA is comprised of local resident volunteers who work together with the Communications & Outreach Coordinator to provide opportunities for DMSM residents to build community connections at DMSMCA events, which are held throughout the entire DMSM neighbourhood for residents of all ages.

The committee collaborates and networks with existing community groups and organizations whenever possible when planning events and has a mandate of using community input as much as possible during the planning process. All events are planned and run by community volunteers.
