Bike Cage
The Bike Cage is a FREE and open space for the community to receive bike repair, advice and the occasional workshop on bike related topics.
The Orioles Bike Cage strives to make cycling and cycling knowledge accessible to all, especially people who wouldn't otherwise be able to afford it, by offering access to tools, help, and parts for people to fix their own bike or to build one out of recycled frames and parts. There are no set-rate charges, but donations of bike parts, money (pay-what-you-can), or in-kind labour are encouraged.
The OBC is located at the wading pool building on the Orioles Community Centre grounds at 444 Burnell Street. It operates year-round, on Tuesdays from 6pm to 9pm and Saturdays from 10am to 2pm.
The Bike Cage is volunteer run and managed. We are always looking for volunteers, both full-time and part-time. If you have some knowledge of bicycles and would like to share it with others, please come on by!
